On November 8th and 10th at our Castle Hill offices, Greater Sydney Landcare Streamwatch hosted two successful Streamwatch Get-Together and Quality Assurance Days.

These events provided a valuable opportunity for Streamwatchers, both new and experienced, to connect with each other and the GSL team, while also participating in important quality assurance activities.
The atmosphere at both events was incredibly positive, with all attendees enjoying the chance to socialise and learn from each other. Volunteers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with fellow Streamwatchers, share experiences, and build relationships within the program.

The quality assurance activities were conducted effectively, ensuring that all data collection methods remain accurate and reliable. These sessions also served as a valuable refresher for all participants, reinforcing best practices and addressing any questions.
Greater Sydney Landcare Streamwatch in conjunction with Community Environment Network (CEN) Waterwatch will hold a Quality Assurance Day in May. If you attended the GSL QA Day in November last year you are more than welcome to come again in May. Further information will be sent via email.
