Each September, the Parramatta River Community Group brings together people, places and ideas to celebrate the Parramatta River and its creeks. This year, we would love you to join us.
Riverfest 2026 runs from 19 to 27 September, bookended by two meaningful global moments: World Clean Up Day and World Rivers Day. It is a week of connection, discovery and community, and there is a place in it for you.
Come along as a guest. Explore the river in a new way, discover what is happening in your local area, and meet the people who care for this incredible waterway. Whether you are a long-time river lover or visiting for the first time, Riverfest has something for you.
Bring your community. If you would like to host an event or activity, big or small, we would love to hear your idea. Riverfest is built by the community, for the community, and every contribution helps inspire others to love and protect the river for generations to come.
Volunteer with us. If you would like to get more involved behind the scenes we welcome anyone who wants to help make Riverfest happen.
