This winter, Greater Sydney Landcare’s Corporate Engagement Team has been hard at work developing a suite of engaging, hands-on workshops designed specifically for our spring corporate volunteer days. These sessions blend education, impact, and fun, while connecting directly to some of Australia’s most important citizen science and conservation programs.
Spring is one of the busiest—and most inspiring—times in the environmental calendar. It brings with it Biodiversity Month (September), Threatened Species Day, World Rivers Day, and is closely followed by Australia’s biggest citizen science events, including the Aussie Bird Count and Pollinator Week.

Our upcoming corporate programs are built around these themes, giving teams the chance to take meaningful action while learning more about the ecosystems around them. Activities include:
- Pollinator and animal monitoring workshops
- Streamwatch water quality testing and river health education
- Litter clean-up and surveys
These workshops can also be combined with our core volunteering opportunities, such as bushland restoration, planting days, or targeted litter removal projects.
We’re also excited to announce that the Clean4Shore program is now open to corporate volunteers! This unique opportunity allows teams to get out on the Hawkesbury River and help remove large debris and litter from key waterway sites—making a real difference to river health and marine life.
Whether you’re looking to get your hands dirty, build team morale, or support meaningful environmental outcomes, there’s something for everyone in our spring offering.
