🐦🌿 Birding & Bushcare in Mulgoa!

Our first Birding & Bushcare event brought 11 volunteers together to remove lantana and help restore critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland as part of the Southwest Sydney Koala Project. 🐨

After a morning of bushcare, we explored the site with binoculars and field guides, we saw and heard 45 bird species, plus a kangaroo! 🦘

Thank you to all our volunteers for helping care for koala habitat and connect with Western Sydney’s incredible biodiversity. 💚

🌿 Greater Sydney Landcare is growing and we’re looking for two new leaders!

GSL is seeking candidates for:
🔸Chair: providing leadership, building business connections and helping unlock new funding opportunities.
🔸Treasurer : working closely with our Finance Manager.

Both roles require strong knowledge of governance and finance.

With exciting changes underway to expand our services and strengthen fundraising, this is a great opportunity to help shape the future of Greater Sydney Landcare.
